Skill-O-Mania
Teaching our students to develop resilience and adapt to various situations, the skill highlighted this week was Problem Recognition and Problem Solving. Students were asked to identify the problem in a given situation and list down the possible solutions to it.
Budding Scientist
Conceptual understanding and application of scientific ideas of our Budding Scientist were developed through the following experiments:

What is Static Electricity and why is it called so?

Salt Water Density experiment to show many objects that sink in fresh water will float in salt water.

Sun Dial experiment to show how the shadows cast by the Sun change with the time of the day.
Mind Fest
Mind Fest classes gave a reflection of the past by familiarizing our students with various topics like:

The Mughal Emperors who ruled India before the British.

The freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for our country.

Contribution of eminent world leaders like Winston Churchill, George Washington, Mohammed Ali Jinnah and Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam was discussed.
Home Science
A session on clothes care was conducted this week. The teacher explained primary functions of clothing according to the season, discussed different types and styles of clothing, and distinguished between casual and formal clothing. The class concluded with a practical demonstration of folding clothes.
