Dynamic Education - Pre-First:
The Topic of ‘Diwali’ was introduced with the teacher informing the students, they live in India which is a multi-linguistic country where people of different religions live together in harmony and are happy to celebrate each other's festivals, and one such festival is ‘Diwali’.
A presentation on the topic of Diwali was shown to them. Students were asked to be seated with sweets, wafers and chips as in this festival there is an exchange of the same.
The students were also explained to take precautions while bursting crackers and were asked about the ill effects of bursting crackers. They came up with answers like it causes a lot of smoke and pollution, the air smells bad and it's difficult to breathe, animals and birds too get affected by the pollution caused, one can get burnt and so on.
We concluded the activity by drawing and colouring the Diwali Celebrations.
Students enjoyed participating in all the activities and understood the safety rules while bursting crackers.
