Fun Day Activities L.KG.

Fun days are an important part of a child’s educational life at any level. Allowing students to enjoy a day of fun activities, helps to break up the routine of school work. This makes school more enjoyable for students and teachers.
L.KG. had organised a Fun Filled Day with exciting activities. Students were divided into groups and each game was played as a race.
Activities were as follows:

The Balancing Act:
In this activity one student from each group had to balance three balls in a tray.
They had to walk around the cones and balance the balls in the tray and walk up to the finishing line.

Let’s Move:
The goal of this game was to match hands and feet to the pictures on the ground. To start with, the students had to match their hands and feet to the first row of pictures. They had to continue making their way down the rows by moving their body and alternating the position of their hands and feet.

Tossing Fun:
This was a simple ‘get-to-know-my-group’ game. Students stood in a circle and tossed a ball to their respective group members. This encouraged a good bonding with the group.

Colour sorting:
Groups were divided on the basis of colours. Balls had to be sorted from a mixed bag of balls and put in their respective hula hoops. The last one in the group tugged at the string on the hula hoop to bring all the balls to the waiting group. It was a great activity which got them moving amidst a lot of cheering and joy.

Hop Up:
Students were given a bouncy ball hopper which was placed at a starting line. Each racer was told that they had bounce down the "track" and then turn around and come back to the starting line which will be the finish line
